Accessibility is one of the quality aspects more neglected even nowadays. Everyone should have the same access to information. Testing accessibility manual is already not an easy task, but testing with automation is a real challenge.

In this talk we want to pass through some of the reasons you should care about this area and also present a possible approach: a automated test suite as well a automatic check made by existing tools, and, how to integrate those tests and checks in your ci.

QA Engineer, Körber Digital - Portugal

Christiano is an experienced Quality Assurance Engineer with over 13 years of experience in the field. He started his career as a Developer in 2006 and transitioned to QA in 2009. Over the years, Christiano has honed his skills in automation using tools such as Protractor, Selenium Webdriver, Selenide, Webdriver.io, and Cypress for end-to-end tests, and Retrofit for API tests. He is particularly fond of using page objects as a design pattern for his tests and maintaining his tests against a pipeline in continuous integration using Jenkins. As a Computer Science graduate, Christiano has always had a passion for Linux and macOS. In 2017, he realized the importance of improving his English skills and decided to volunteer in Dublin, Ireland, as a way of living in another country. He then moved to Luanda, Angola in 2018, where he worked as a QAE team leader for six months before moving to Krakow, Poland. In June of 2019, Christiano finally settled in Portugal, where he continues to pursue his passion for quality assurance.
