AutomationSTAR Terms & Conditions
Ticket purchases for the EuroSTAR Software Testing Conference are subject to the following:
All prices on website are in euro (€) and exclude VAT. We accept payment via credit card or by bank transfer up to 25th September 2022. Thereafter ticket payments will be by credit card only. All invoices must be paid within 30 days.
Force Majeure Cancellation Policy
In the event that we must postpone the conference to a later date as a result of force majeure matters, such as extreme adverse local weather conditions or weather warnings, natural disasters, civil strikes or conflict, war, terrorist activity, fire, flood conditions, pandemic or other health related crisis and similar, the following options will be available:
- Tickets may be transferred to the rescheduled dates at no additional cost.
- Should the rescheduled dates not be suitable for you, tickets may be transferred to a colleague at no additional cost.
- If transfer of the tickets is not suitable, we can provide a credit towards the next AutomationSTAR conference.
- We will provide a refund if none of the above options are suitable.
Outside of Force Majeure events our regular cancellation policy will apply as outlined below:
- From 8 weeks before the event cancellations will be subject to a 20% administration fee.
- From 6 weeks before the event cancellations are subject to a 50% administration fee.
- From 3 weeks onwards – all tickets are 100% non-refundable and full invoices will be due on cancellation or non-attendance.
The AutomationSTAR 2022 Conference will be organised and arranged in line with the German government safety guidelines. If advised by the German government not to proceed with the event, for any reason, the above Force Majeure policy will apply..
Tickets are 100% Transferable
All AutomationSTAR ticket holders may, at any time, transfer their ticket to a colleague, either in their own company or another company (with written confirmation from the existing bill payer).
Name changes are free of charge right up to the day of the conference – so if for any reason you cannot attend, you can transfer your ticket to a colleague. If you know in advance of the conference, please let us know by contacting Siobhan Hunt by email.
Code of Conduct
AutomationSTAR is committed to a positive conference experience for all attendees – please familiarise yourself with the terms of our Code of Conduct policy. Everyone attending our event, and our staff, are expected to abide by our code of conduct. Your ticket purchase confirms your acceptance of this policy.
We offer discounts on tickets for early bookings. If you book before 31st July 2022 you can avail of our 2-for-1 offer. This will be followed by our Early Bird offer.
Please note only one discount may be applied to a ticket booking.
Registering on Behalf of Another
If you are registering on behalf of another person it is your obligation to make sure that the person attending is aware of these Terms and accepts them. By completing and submitting the registration form you are representing and warranting that you have made the person attending aware of these Terms and that they have accepted these Terms.
Personal Data Usage & GDPR
By buying a ticket to an AutomationSTAR event, you consent for AutomationSTAR (and related companies) to collect, process and use your personal data for the purposes outlined below:
- To contact you regarding updates and registration information for the Conference you have booked
- To provide free software testing content co-created by the community
- To upload to the conference app/platform for you to access this feature during the conference
- To advise you of offers for your team
In the unlikely event data is proposed to be shared with a third-party, you will be asked explicitly for consent when you provide this data.
All exhibitors and sponsors have been made aware of our strict GDPR policy.
Access to AutomationSTAR Conference App
All attendees will be required to create a user account for the conference app and use their registration profile to login and access the conference. All details will be forwarded to all attendees approx. 1 week in advance of the conference.
Video, Photography and Audio Recording
Throughout our AutomationSTAR events and related events we organise, or attend as a partner, we capture audio, photos and video showing future attendees what to expect at our events. From time to time we interview individual attendees, speakers or partners for use in promotional videos and materials. All interviews will be given with consent.
By attending any of our in-person or online events you acknowledge and agree that where you choose to participate in elements of the event you are giving consent to store recordings for any of all in-person events or video conferences that you join, if such recordings are in our systems. Please note that all AutomationSTAR sessions may be recorded which includes capturing those that have chosen to be present. If you do not consent to being recorded, you can choose to leave the meeting or webinar.
You agree to permit us, or any third party licensed by us, to use, distribute, broadcast, or otherwise globally disseminate your likeness, name, voice and words in perpetuity in television, radio, film, newspapers, magazines and other media now available and hereafter developed, both before, during and any time after the event, and in any form, without any further approval from you or any payment to you. This grant includes the right to edit the media, the right to use the media (alone or together with other information), and the right to allow others to use or distribute the media.
From time to time, tickets are awarded as prizes to competition winners. These cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer and the value of free tickets cannot be redeemed in any other way. Tickets won in competitions are non-transferable.
