Go With The Flow! A Testers’ Guide To Postman Flows

Beth Marshall

11:15-13:00 - Tuesday 21st November

Low code tooling has come a long way. With the rise and rise of the “citizen developer”, tools like Postman Flows are predicted to be the major way applications are built within the next 10-15 years. They are not the best solution in every case, but if we’re aware of their capabilities and shortcomings, we can add them to the mental toolkit and hopefully use them to do some cool things at work, both now and in the future.

For example, did you know Flows is the only way you can call multiple API’s from different collections at the same time in Postman? Did you know you can generate Webhooks in order to run Flows through your CI pipeline? How about generating Test Data using a third party API such as OpenAI and using that in your API workflow seamlessly?

Come and join Beth Marshall as she takes a look at Flows, Postman’s latest beta feature for low/no code API workflow development and testing. Although not sponsored by Postman, the team behind Flows have kindly reviewed this talk, so you can be sure that the content and ideas are on the money.
