Testing of and with AI Agents – Concrete Insights

What sounds a lot like spy software à la James Bond is actually the next stage of AI development: AI agents that perform tasks independently with or without human assistance. In software testing, for example, an AI agent could carry out manual test cases. There is no doubt that this is feasible, but is it also useful?

In her presentation, Anne gives us an insight into this lively field of research. We will first
look at what an AI agent is, how it can be used in practice and how we can measure whether the result is useful. Smartestings AI Lab has been working on this very question of measurability for some time now. The results include specific, automatable metrics and a taxonomy of errors made by AI. The results of the associated experiments are exciting!
