The Austrian Testing Board (ATB) represents the International Software Testing Qualifications Board (ISTQB) in Austria. As an independent and neutral organisation, we have the following objectives – Securing the training offer for the ISTQB certification programme – Accreditation of training providers – Ensuring that the listed providers comply with the ISTQB standards for courses – Provision of a free, independent and cross-company network for the exchange of experience for all those interested in testing – Active participation in national and international working groups to actively contribute to the content and framework conditions of the ISTQB. In German-speaking countries (D.A.CH), the ATB works closely with the German Testing Board and the Swiss Testing Board. In addition, the ATB supports and strengthens the testing community through, among other things – Regular events for those interested in testing, thus creating a platform for the exchange of knowledge – Regular trade magazine: ATB Insider – Support for test-related events – Promoting research in the field of software testing. It works with universities and research institutions to develop and evaluate new methods and tools
