Elevating Test Automation in a Multi-Brand Regulated Context

In the fast-paced, highly regulated environment we operate in, managing multiple brands with distinct compliance requirements presents a unique set of challenges. Our front-end platform, built on React mini-apps, offers the modularity necessary to deploy custom configurations across various brands and markets effectively. However, this architecture introduces complexities in our test strategies.

As the demand for quicker brand and market launches increases, we have come across difficulties in balancing our automation efforts. In this session, we will share our journey from a fragmented test automation framework to a more cohesive approach. While we have significantly reduced code duplication and maintenance time, achieving a functional system that adheres to strict regulatory standards does come with challenges.

We will present our test automation architecture before and after our redesign, highlighting both the successes and pitfalls of our approach. We will discuss the strategies we used to enhance code reusability and efficiency, acknowledging the pros and cons of our current solution.
